The Role
The BSB is recruiting for a Governance Manager to join our team. The post holder will provide their corporate governance expertise to supporting the organisation in its effective and strategic decision making.
Key responsibilities include:

Managing the cyclical workload of the Governance team, including the line management of a Corporate Risk and Governance Officer and directly providing secretariat support for senior executive groups

Managing the recruitment and contractual arrangements for non-executive workers.

Managing the BSB’s corporate risk and Board assurance processes, including review and update of the corporate risk register.
Key skills and experience required to undertake the role include experience of:

Working within a Board and committee structure, or a similar environment

Monitoring compliance with governance systems

Recruitment and induction of non-executives
-
Drafting and presenting reports to Boards and Committees, including responding to constructive challenge
